... for the Barbie dolls :D

Was at the One Utama shopping complex last weekend for some last minute shopping :P Came across this exhibition of Barbie dolls that were dressed up in such beautiful and elegant gowns with such meticulous details and design. It was some display in lieu of some couple thingy promotion by the Clarity jewellery store and they weren't for sale. They're so pretty I wish I could take even just one home. I'm such a sucker for small dolls in cute, pretty, cool clothes like the McTeddy dolls from McDonald's.

It's a whole lot of pics and may take some time to load, but I think they're pretty much worth waiting for. They're just so pretty >_<

Red Bliss
Friday, October 05, 2007

A very, very good friend of mine tied the knot last weekend. So there I was, being her ji-mui although I actually don't quite qualify anymore because I'm already married >_< But it was nice to be there for her, to share the happiness and to witness the start of a new chapter in her life :)

Nope, I'm not the official wedding photographer. Where qualify? -_-" Just snapped a few here and there. Had the privilege to photograph the bride during the time when she (and I) were locked up in the room while the groom and his entourage had to break through the "barriers" outside :D

Waiting

She was one happy and blissful bride that day :)

Tea so sweet! Mmmmm ...

Don't you think so? :)

Congratulations, Kate & Patrick!

This is a heavily loaded post. Brace yourselves for a total of about 1.8Mb of pictures!!!

Went to the Eukanuba/PetnYou Dog Carnival at 1U Central Park with hubby, Jon and Cassie ;) It was a hot morning, but with a nice blue sky nonetheless!

Visitors watching the dogs having a go at the agility competition.

There were loads of people, children especially. All there for the fun of petting and hugging those loveable, furry dogs! And also for some fun of hand-painting and balloon-making!

And since it was a dog carnival, of course there were loads of dogs as well! Dogs of different sizes and shapes ...

Hair dyed in all sorts of colours ...

And all dressed up for the carnival!

The agility competition was interesting. Seeing the dogs running left and right, into the tunnel, up and down the see-saw, up unto the dogwalk and jumping over hurdles! And of course, the occasional away from the grounds of competition, probably due to some really tempting distractions!!!

A golden retriever strutting his stuffs on the dogwalk.

Contestant and his pet getting all ready.

Over the hurdle he goes!

Another one!

The high-jump competition

And in the middle of the schedule and announcements, someone proposed to his loved one! On bended knee!

It was a really hot morning. Not surprising to see the dogs getting all tired and worked out. You could see some panting really hard. Some with thick drool dripping from their mouths (eeeeww!!). Some ... well, they just lazed around on the green grass.

While some others ... had a dip and swim in the lake!

It was indeed a hot morning, I went home with burning red arms >_<

My 2 favourite shots of the day ...

The St. Bernards! Check out the brandy barrel on one of 'em >_<

The Red Team!!! There are 4 of 'em, can you spot the other one >_<
