Finally! Finally, finally, finally got my butt up to shooting sunset at Bagan Lalang. It was a public holiday on Friday, so the hubby and I took a *rather* long journey to Bagan Lalang in hopes of catching a nice sunset. It's been a while since I last shot sunsets. I miss taking the S's - sky, sunset, silhouette :)

Halfway through the journey, it started pouring. My heart sank :( But since we were already on the way, we continued on. The hubby encouraged me to just continue. Even if we couldn't catch the sunset, at least we could take a look at the place. And so, it took us almost an hour and a half to reach Bagan Lalang.

As we were nearing the beach, it has stopped pouring with just very slight drizzle. But the sky was so overcast and sunset wasn't going to be anywhere good, we spotted a rainbow that greeted our visit :)

And so we parked our car nearby the beach as the sun began to set. The drizzle from the rain left interesting spots on the sand. Time for an abstract shot :)



With the sun beginning to set, the sky was coloured orange golden! I was glad the hubby persisted to continue the journey despite the rain! I miss taking sunsets!
