This was from last weekend.
Fried luncheon meat. Nothing special but it was for the hubby. Not that I don't eat luncheon meat, but yadda-yadda-yadda again ... yes, need to cut down on too heavily processed food :P I'm suddenly turning into a health freak, a forced-one unfortunately :(

Then for vege, we had
chi kua (hairy gourd, fuzzy gourd) with
(yes, again!) minced meat and ginger. The ginger is optional (again good for the health :P) I <3 this dish.

And for the
healthier meat dish (although I won't say it's oh-so-healthy since it has fat :P), braised pork in dark soya sauce. My first time making this, and I'd say not too bad haha. At least it tasted right :P

Ooh-la-la, half meat half fat!

And lastly but not least, soup!!! I love soups. Honestly, I think most of the Chinese soups are easy to boil, it's just that it takes time. Maybe at least 3 hours. This one was
I-forgot-the-pea-name soup boiled with pork ribs LOL~ The peas are white-pinkish when uncooked. I need to go check out the name LOL~
Soup of the night

There goes another simple dinner for the night :)
