Instead of the styrofoam plate which I used to use to diffuse light from my built-in flash, this time I decided to try with a semi-translucent corrugated plastic board.
I think the light is a wee bit too harsh compared to the styrofoam plate. And the shape of this board is squarish, so no more round reflections in the bugs' eyes.
But the one thing good about this board is that it is not as fragile as the styrofoam plate which can't be kept in the bag. Otherwise it'd sure break. The board is more durable.
Jumping spider caught a mealybug for a meal.

I don't know why but halfway thru, the spidey dropped its meal.

But then again, it looked like it was trying to go for another one.
