Bzzz Bees

Whipped out my el cheapo setup again during the weekends, and went around shooting in the condo's park.

Residents and neighbours were looking at my styrofoam plate setup like they've never seen anything like that before LOL~

Taking bees is not easy. I was super excited I spotted my very first subject for the day - a bee collecting pollen from a flower. So excited and jolly I was, I forgot all about the camera settings and flash -_-"

Check out the pollen baskets on the bee's hind legs. Cool huh. The one thing I like about macro photography is you will probably see or learn something new each time you go out for a shooting :)

The shots I could manage for each bee at a flower is at most 2. Super busy bees! Or maybe super slow me. Hehe.

I like the next shot. I know it's out of focus. It *is* OOF. Hehe. But the thing I like about the shot is the movement of its wings. Nice huh?

Next up, more macros of a spider with spiny legs :)
