Banana Leaf Hokkien Mee (non-halal)
Wednesday, October 10, 2007
For those of you who knows about the Banana Leaf Hokkien Mee in Paramount PJ, they have moved. They used to operate at night in the O&S Restaurant. But have recently moved to SEA Park, the restaurant lot behind KFC. Opposite the Shell petrol station.

So last weekend, we went there for dinner after sunset mass.

Hokkien Mee (fuk-kin-mien)

Loh Mee (law-mien)

Grilled stingray with belacan chilli and mixed vegetables.

Fried chicken wings

I kinda like the fried chicken wings. Hubby says the ones in Fatty Crab Taman Megah are much better, but I prefer this. It's a bit more bland and less salty.

And what banana leaf I'm talking about, you must be asking!

They use them to lay the plates!

However if I'm not mistaken, the noodles are cooked on charcoal fire ;)

they use normal FIRe ok. if they use charcoal fire, they'd use 741368763 years to cook. charcoal fire is YELLOW (not that hot), stove fire is BLUE (very hot). like HELLO? anyway, everyone, visit WUSSYTOOTS.BLOGSPOT.COM!
