Went for the
fireworks competition again yesterday night. It was Team Australia this time.
We were late. The sky started to lit up even before we managed to park the car. But I got down with my sister first, and left the boyfriend to find for a parking >_< Late! All because of *someone* who went to grab some
takoyaki on the way.

We simply settled for a spot. Which wasn't a very good spot. Coz there were throngs of people around. And trees. Contemplated whether or not to take out the tripod and get pics. What if it was like the
last time? What if I took it out and by the time the slow-coach me has setup everything, the fireworks has ended? Embarassing kan? -_-"
But heck, I went ahead. Tried to quickly grab some shots before it ended. Lucky thing this time it lasted more than 20 minutes.
Into the first few shots, I was like
"hmm, how come the fireworks look overblown this time?!!". So I used a faster shutter. But then I didn't get nice "flowers" of fireworks, because the shutter just wasn't long enough. Due to the adrenalin rush from being late, I didn't really think. I just went and shoot, and kept thinking
"Hmm, weird!!!" *LOL*

Only after about 20 shots, then it struck me. Shits! I must have forgotten to re-adjust the ISO. And boy, was I right >_<
WHO THE HELL SHOOTS FIREWORKS AT ISO-800???!!!
*slaps forehead*
*whacks self*
I remembered to set all the other settings (shutter, aperture, bulb mode). Even prepared the remote cable release. But not the ISO!!!!!
Quickly set back to the lowest ISO. Didn't manage to grab much, coz the fireworks have ended by then.

Those
takoyakis ... damn!!!!!!
