If you're a frequent visitor of some photography forums and sites, Canon vs. Nikon (or vice versa) has always been a *friendly* debate. Some call them the white and dark side. Switching brands are like jumping ships *LOL* Canon is good for this, Nikon is good for that, etc. It's neverending!
But who says Nikon and Canon can't get along? *giggles*
Well, I took a Nikon 50mm f/1.8 lens (that came along with my dad's really old Nikon EM camera set, which has now officially become my toy!), opened it to its widest aperture (f/1.8) and held it - reversed - to my Canon 50mm lens on my 350D! Yeah, I was playing around with the reversed lens technique again.

Yeah, the pics are not perfect. Some distortions here and there. The vignetting is very obvious.
Since I was at it, I compared against the Raynox DCR-250 macro filter that I have. These were taken with the Raynox filter instead of the reversed lens technique.

Looks like the reversed lens allowed me to get closer up to the subject and gave me more magnification.
I'm already feeling thirsty looking at those pics >_<
Oh, this was another one I took using the Nikon + Canon setup. The small little flowers that I
posted some time back, but these have withered and dropped onto the soil. Sad but pretty eh!

I've actually wanted to post this a few days back. But got attacked with the fever and cough bug. First started out with a really itchy throat that caused a lot of coughing! Then the fever came. Then the flu. Now ... I'm pretty groggy from the medicine -_-"
Ok, better post this now and sign off ... before I konk-off on the keyboard!!!
