A few weeks back, I discovered a litter of 4 kittens in my parent's neighbour's compound. Many times I've wanted to take pictures of them. But my intentions were always dampen by inappropriate timing - it would either be raining or they're not around.
Finally last week, I caught them slumbering in the drain in the neighbour's garden. So, quickly out came my camera. This time I used the 90-300mm lens because I couldn't really get up close to them. As expected, the pics came out blurry due to handshake and the long focal length that I used.
This orange one was rather defensive, showing me his fangs whenever I tried to get closer.

This white one was rather timid and shy, running back into the compound whenever I tried to get closer.

Though technically crappy, but check out their eye colour. So nice :)
Just then yesterday evening after work, I caught them playing around in the garden. This time, their mother was around. I decided to try with the 50mm lens instead. I had to find a way to get closer to them without them running away. So, I gave them some rice and meat while I try to get closer and get the shots.

It wasn't an easy feat. The following pics were taken from the other side of the fence that you see in the above pic. I had to squat and duck as low as I can. I know I could have gotten lower by lying on my tummy, but I decided to skip that idea due to the thick grass and pokok semalu (mimosa pudica). So, I'll just have to make do with whatever and however I can.
This white one was the first to come out to eat.

Slowly followed by this orange kitty.
