The Calypso Cabaret. An entertaining show filled with songs, music, colours, lights and glamour!

Initially, I was reluctant to go for it. But being left with no choice because I had to accompany dear mother and sister who are so eager to go for it, I ended up being rather grateful for it wasn't such a bad experience afterall. In fact, (I can't believe I'm saying this!) I find some of them even prettier than most of the real girls and ladies, and yes that includes me :P

750 Baht (per person) was a little stressful for my already-drying-up wallet, but hey at least we got the second row seatings! Nearer for better photographic opportunities *giggles*

I'd say I was pretty much entertained throughout the show which lasted approximately one hour and a half. They had the usual singing and dancing ... well, lip-synching to be precise! Oh, there was also acts and storylines.

This was something about love, greed, power and determination.

But of all the performers and acts, I'd say this guy (or rather lady??!!!) was the most entertaining of all. (S)he was really funny, and pretty good at it! If it wasn't for him, I think the show wouldn't have been equally this entertaining! I totally enjoyed his shows and acts.

Oh, did I mention you may get "lucky" if you're seated on the front row and at the sides? You might score a hug and kiss just like our front-row gentleman here.

Or you might get lucky to be ushered up onto the stage, boogey-ing with the pretty performers. This young chap was like so stunned and shy at the beginning, but at least he was sporting enough to boogey a little later on!

Oh, (s)he's up again! This time as a playful and flirtatious geisha. For me, this was actually the best act throughout the night.

You've really gotta give it to him; his lip-synching was absolutely marvellous and hilarious! And (s)he was being naughty with the front-row gentleman (again), playing eye contact with him and all! Ohhhh, downright flirtatious but funny *LOL*

Our front-row gentleman "tipping" the geisha ...

... and got a big smooch on the cheek!

Oh, it was a real smooch! Cause I could see the bright red lipmark on his cheek after that. Darn, I should have gotten a picture of it!

Like I said, it was a show filled with lights and colours.

Next time you're in Bangkok, you might just want to check this out! It was really not bad at all, not bad at all!

The closing act.
