I visited the zoo (again) last year during the DeepaRaya (Deepavali & Hari Raya) holidays, together with my sister, the ever so-cheeky son, and the 2 men. Was expecting it to be a good time to visit the zoo, considering that most folks would have probably gone back to their hometowns for the festivals. Boy, was I sooooo wrong!

Finally, we managed to get our tickets and our butts into the zoo!

Then, of course there were the other animals and birds and all.

After much walking and clickety-clicks, we settled down for lunch ... in a poorly-lit, crowded and crammed place *ahem* Luckily, it rained by then and it wasn't so hot and stuffy.



After lunch, we made a quick round to finish off the visit. We were getting tired, and the place was wet from the rain.

The zoo was really filled with visitors, just check out the sea of people at the animal show ...





A quick dash in the indoor aquarium area, and then we were off.
