Painting The Scene
Tuesday, January 09, 2007
I was in a dilemma of finding some good pictures to be printed and later on framed to be hung on walls. I've never done any prints bigger than 8R myself and this is kinda the first unpaid commission that I'm doing.

I was looking through the beach pictures that I took in Langkawi. There's this particular piece that I really liked because of the idea that suddenly popped in my mind when I took the picture. I won't go into detail here, but it's more or less something to do with feng-shui *roll eyes*! Somehow, the colours didn't turn out quite well - not contrasty and lively enough. So, I tried with black-and-white ... still, I'm not satisfied. I wanted a "auspicious" picture *LOL*

Heck with it, instead I tried something that I'm not good at ... something that I only indulge in once-in-a-blue-moon ... and ended up with "Painting The Scene".

What do you think? Crappy? *LOL*

yoong: It's going to be either 11 or 12R, but I'm not sure if 12R would be good coz the noise level at full view is not very good ... I'll see how it goes.
