The second time. Yep, my trusty 'ol Canon Powershot A70 went down again with the CCD image sensor malfunction thingy which causes fuzzy and/or no images at all. You can read all about the advisory issued by Canon
here.
Everyone was asking why did I bother getting it fixed considering that I already have the newer A620 and a 350D. Well, I thought that if it wasn't going to cost a bomb to get it done, I'll fix it and pass it on to my sister. Yeah yeah, cheap-skate sister I am. Should have just gotten her a brand new one, you might add *LOL*
Thankfully, it didn't even have to cost me a single cent ... well of course, excluding the costs of going up and down to the service center! And yeah, I got the same old "do not keep the camera in the bag when not in use", "leave it outside to air it" advices ... hehe.
These pics were taken after I collected the camera. It's been quite a while since I've last handled it. I've forgotten that the previews are much brighter than actually viewing them on the PC, so yeah I think the pics are a little under-exposed.
It was a moon at the top right, and it's not even nightfall!

The moon I was talking about, 100% crop!

*LOL* You'll literally find my dog's hair on almost anything you'll find in the garden and porch!
