I acquired the Raynox DCR-250 close-up lens a few weeks back, and decided to take it out again for a try. It comes with a snap-on universal mount where you just clip it unto your lens.

Still haven't really mastered the usage of it. Getting it to focus is not easy due to the resulting shallow DOF from using it. The precision of the distance of the lens to the subject is a thing that I had yet to grasp. I'm almost always moving the camera back and forth trying to lock the focus. Once I zoom or unzoom the lens, it's another round of moving back and forth again! Sigh, I guess I'm just plain lousy and crappy!!!
