It's the time of the year again, where shopping malls bring out their stuffs and deck their halls lavishly for the Christmas season. And being the crappy, happy-snappy me :) this calls for photography opportunities! Well, of course it then eventually becomes another fine reason for going shopping again and again.

This year, I presume Midvalley's anticipating a sweet Christmas. The main decors in the center court were all sweets and candies and cookies. With the throngs of people every weekend, I have a feeling Midvalley will sure be enjoying some really sweet profits this Christmas!



I've noticed as well that Midvalley are reusing some of the props from last year, like the tree branches and the hanging glittery stars on the ceilings. Only that they're spotting different colours and with different ornaments. Last year, they hung crystals and glass on those tree branches, this year they decorated with lollipops.



Midvalley also has the snow-in-mall thingy again just like they had last year. I have photographed it last year, and you can see the series of pictures I did in my dA account [here].

As for The Curve, it's a blue-blue Christmas. Not the low-spirit kinda blue feeling. But they've adopted the colour blue this year. I don't kinda recall theirs for last year, probably because I don't really shop there often. But I think I'll probably might gonna remember this year's one, cause it's all so shiny and blue :) Even as you step in from the entrance, you will walk through arches all decorated with blue baubles. And then once you're in the main concourse area, you're again greeted with more blue baubles, blue stars and all.

I didn't really notice much about the decors in 1-Utama this time. I was too busy and caught up with Christmas gift-shopping! But if my deteriorating memory still serves me good, I don't recall seeing much Christmas-y decors, but the main big attraction being a Mickey Mouse! Right smack on the stage in the concourse area of the new wing. Christmas trees here and there yes, but they didn't really carve a good spot in my memory.

Whether it's a sweet Christmas or a blue or Mickey one, it's Christmas nevertheless. And I love Christmas!!!
