Shooting wide

Nah, not wide angle. But rather the image ratio. Particularly, I don’t really fancy the 4:3 in my Canon Powershot cameras. It feels kinda “squarish” but not square. I prefer the ratio 3:2 in my 350D, which looks slightly longish abit. Beats me, don’t ask me why!

And so, I discovered the Wide size format in the S90. Which takes pixies at the fixed size of 3648×2048 – go do the the calculation yourself LOL~ But it’s really wide, or long I’d say. The ratio is abit off, and wee bit too long maybe. But I’ll just go ahead and have a bit of fun with it first.

And here I am, trying some street shots. Or maybe just being crappy snappy >_<

New toy, yet again!

I finally succumbed to it! After weeks of checking reviews on the net and going through the cycle of “Ok, I’m getting it!” and “But then again, maybe I’ll think about it again” time and again, I took the plunge and got it >_<

Haven’t really been using it much. I had a main purpose of getting it actually, I’ll share it when the time comes :D

One of the main reasons I decided to get this over other choices was the F2.0. I had been waiting for quite some time now since the G6. And finally, Canon has granted my wish! I’m still getting used to the “boxy”-feel of it, I’ve been pretty much too used with cameras that have a side grip like the DSLRs and the Powershot A-series. And the flash, I have to constantly remind myself to move my hand/finger away from it when it pops up. But then again, for the sake of F2.0 I’ll take the plunge. LOL~
